Neville L. Rhone
Neville L. Rhone is a Senior Director of Canyon Capital Realty Advisors LLC and is a member of Canyon-Johnson Urban Fund's (CJUF) investment committee. Mr. Rhone leads CJUF's investment activities in the Southeast and Southwest urban markets and is responsible for sourcing and overseeing new development and acquisition opportunities.
Mr. Rhone has over 14 years of experience in finance and real estate having executed over $5 billion of transactions during his career. Prior to joining Canyon, Mr. Rhone was a Vice President with Morgan Stanley where he executed private equity and mezzanine investments for Morgan Stanley Real Estate Funds (MSREF) in the lodging and commercial real estate sectors. Within Morgan Stanley's Investment Banking Division, Mr. Rhone was also responsible for executing large M&A and corporate finance transactions within the real estate and media industries. Prior to Morgan Stanley, Mr. Rhone was an Associate with Tishman Realty Corporation, an international real estate developer and investor based in New York City. At Tishman, he was responsible for overseeing developments and underwriting investment opportunities in primarily the hospitality industry. Prior to Tishman, Mr. Rhone worked for Parsons Brinckerhoff as part of the structural and civil engineering team responsible for large infrastructure projects in Boston. Mr. Rhone is a graduate of Cornell University (B.S. and Masters of Engineering in Civil Engineering) and Columbia Business School (M.B.A. - Finance Concentration).
