Formerly home to ABC headquarters in the 1950s, the project now includes 300 apartments, 87,000 sq. ft. of ground-floor retail, an 833-space parking garage and 19 billboards.

Milwaukee, WI
A partnership of Canyon-Johnson Urban Fund and Milwaukee-based Boulder Venture LLC in 2001 acquired the 700,000 sq. ft. shopping center formerly known as Capitol Court, built in 1955. At the time of purchase, the development was 20% leased and functionally obsolete. A dramatic three-year revitalization effort ensued, which included demolition of the mall and development of 454,000 sq. ft. of new Class "A" retail space in its place.

Canyon-Johnson and Lowe Enterprises Investors purchased the iconic Hilton Washington hotel from Hilton Hotels Corporation in May 2007. The new ownership team will invest in a $100+ million top-to-bottom renovation of the legendary hotel. The CJUF/Lowe Enterprises joint venture has entered into a long-term management agreement with Hilton Hotels Corporation.
