Park Place, Brooklyn, NY
Canyon-Johnson and New York developer Anderson & Associates constructed Park Place -- an eight-story, 90,000 square foot mixed-use project -- on the site of the former Brooklyn Tabernacle auditorium in the heart of Brooklyn's Park Slope district. The Park Place development is consistent with New York City's housing policy initiative to overcome the city's housing shortage. Park Slope is one of Brooklyn's most prized brownstone neighborhoods. It is predominantly residential, characterized by late 19th and early 20th century rowhouses with architectural significance. The project will consist of 47 market-rate residential condominiums, approximately 4,500 square feet of ground-level retail space, and a 25-stall underground parking structure.
