CJUF is partnering with Donatelli & Klein of Washington, DC, on the development of a transit-oriented condominium project next to the Georgia Ave.-Petworth Metro station in the Columbia Heights submarket of Washington, DC. The project’s strategic location above the Petworth Metro station will provide residents convenient access to the entire Greater Washington area via the elaborate Metro network, as well close proximity to over 675,000 square feet of newly constructed retail amenities.
Petworth will provide affordable workforce housing to dual-income families working in core employment sectors such as social work, teaching, nursing and law enforcement. In addition, the Project will offer 27 below market-rate units and 16,000 square feet of community serving retail. Plans on the residential component of the project call for a total of 161 condominium units, 187 structured parking spaces, and 50 storage spaces.
