In 2002 Canyon-Johnson acquired the Severance Town Center, a 650,000 square foot retail center on approximately 70 acres in Cleveland Heights, Ohio. CJUF worked with city officials to implement a number of infrastructure improvements, which included adding new curbs, signalization, pedestrian walkways, decorative lighting and landscaping for the road encircling the property. The Severance Town Center is now a bustling town center anchored by a Home Depot, Wal-Mart, 14-screen Regal Cinemas, Borders Books and Music, Marshalls and Bally Total Fitness.
